  • Euregio Science Fund: Third Call

    The provincial governors of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino approved the Euregio Science Fund third call for proposals at the board meeting on Oct. 12th 2017 at Trento. The call, which is endowed with €3.2m, is primarily aimed at several-year collaborative research projects involving all three research locations in the European region, regardless of discipline. Experts from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) will provide information about the call for proposals directly in Bolzano and Trento on 2 and 3 November 2017.

    The European Region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino in its function as leader of the EUSALP Action Group 4 Mobility is organizing the 2nd Mobility Conference on 25 October 2017 in Bolzano, with the focus on economic stakeholders in transport in the Alpine Region.

  • Trento included in the European Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor for its performances in culture and urban creativity

    The first edition of the Report of the Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor was recently published by the European Commision. The Monitor selected 168 cities in 30 european countries (EU28, Norway and Switzerland), on the bases of three measurable and comparable criteria: 93 cities which have been or will be European Capitals of Culture up to 2019 or which have been shortlisted to become European Capitals of Culture up to 2021; 22 UNESCO Creative Cities; 53 cities hosting at least two regular international cultural festivals running until at least 2015. The city of Trento was selected because of its matching with this last criteria.

  • 7 April 2017: Alpeuregio Summer School - Deadline for applications

    We wish to present the 7th edition of the Alpeuregio Summer School on Institutions and Policies of the European Union which is being organized by the Representation of the European Region Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino in Brussels. The course will be held at the Representation Office of the European Region Tyrol – South Tyrol – Trentino in Rue de Pascale 45-47 in Brussels. It will take place from 3rd to 13th of July 2017.
